- Diesel electronic engine control system performance tests: Check for stored fault codes. Monitor data stream parameters. Check fuel supply and delivery systems. Check glow plug/intake heater system as equipped. Perform pinpoint tests for listed fault codes. Code P0673 preset for glow plug #3 failure. Resistance values on the other seven were weak. Recommend replacement of all.
- Removed drivers and passengers side inner fenders. Remove wiring harness and from glow plugs and remove plugs from the heads. Install new Delco ( OEM ) glow plugs and reassemble. Clear the code and test for proper operation
