Check glow plug/intake heater system as equipped. Perform pinpoint tests for listed fault codes. Code P0673 preset for glow plug #3 failure. Resistance values on the other seven were weak. Recommend replacement of all.
  • Removed drivers and passengers side inner fenders. Remove wiring harness and from glow plugs and remove plugs from the heads. Install new Delco ( OEM ) glow plugs and reassemble. Clear the code and test for proper operation

  • Differential lock actuator – Remove & Replace –
  • Removed tire, loosened upper ball joint and disconnected brake line bracket from knuckle. Removed axle shaft and 4wd actuator, found actuator split in half required drilling/ tapping for removal. Installed new 4wd actuator and axle shaft. Re installed all removed parts. Road tested & verified 4wd operations.

  • Inspected power steering system, no leaks found. Inspected further, found transmission cooler (in front of radiator) damaged by possible rock and has severe leak. REcommend replacing transmission cooler.
  • Unplug water in fuel sensor and remove existing fuel filter from vehicle. Transfer water in fuel sensor to the new filter and install in vehicle. Prime the system and restart vehicle checking for leaks
  • Removed upper air dam on cowl and lower splash shield. Removed and replaced transmission oil cooler. Cleaned area and topped off fluids. Road tested.

  • Inspected 4wd hubs, found left side locked and right side not locked. Tested and found vacuum levels correct. Removed vacuum lines and tested, passed at hubs. Disconnected vacuum lines, right side had no change (should lock), left side stayed locked. Rein stalled vacuum lines, placed into 2wd, left remained locked. Recommend replacing both hubs.
  • Removed both front tires, tie rods, upper ball joint nut and CV axle nut. Removed CV axle and 4wd actuators. Installed new actuators and re installed all removed parts. Tested 4wd functions, confirmed both now lock and unlock.

  • Unbolted steering gear box from frame and unbolted steering linkage to gear box. Removed and replaced pitman arm. Re installed gear box and all removed parts. Greased all grease zerks. Sent for alignment. Road tested.
  • Removed and replaced idler arm.
  • Completed front end alignment Inv # 13556
  • Inspection found oil pressure sensor has a moderate leak. Recommend replacing to resolve leak.
  • Cleaned area of signs of leak. Removed and replaced oil pressure sensor.
  • Cleaned signs of oil leaks, road tested and rechecked for leaks. Inspection found oil pan gasket has moderate leak, recommend resealing oil pan.
  • Removed lower cross member, right inner fender well and cleaned oil leak from exterior of oil pan. Removed lower oil pan, cleaned pan and mounting surfaces. Re installed lower oil pan with sealant, allowed to dry overnight. Re installed all removed parts. Removed and replaced oil filter and added new oil to recommended levels. Road tested and verified no leaks.
