    • Diesel electronic engine control system performance tests: Check for stored fault codes. Monitor data stream parameters. Perform pinpoint tests for listed fault codes. Inspection P0170 and P0402, Watched operation of egr valve on scan tool. Valve would stick and jump when actuated. Recommend replacement of EGR valve.
    • Removed components to access the EGR valve. Removed the existing EGR valve and inspected for debris. Installed new EGR valve and gaskets. Top off cooolant, clear codes and test drive to confirm proper operation.
    • Removed the upper intake in order to access the broken bolts from EGR tube to exhaust manifold. Drilled, tapped and helicoiled the area and reassembled all.

    • Drain transfer case and inspect for debris, refill with new fluid. Tested all operations.
    • removed the existing drag link and tie rod ends. Install new components and lube same. Road test after alignment to confirm proper operation
    • Alignment reset after component replacement Inv 31303
    • Removed the front trac bar and pressed the old bushing out and installed a new bushing.
    • On removal of the trac bar from the front of the truck, excess wear was noted on the ball joint. Existing ball joint pressed out and new joint pressed in. Trac bar then reinstalled in truck
    • Removed the existing oil separator ( CCV filter ), cleaned affected area and installed a new separator. Check for leak free operation

    • Drain water from water separator, remove secondary fuel filter and install new filter. Remove primary fuel filter, clean bowl and install new fuel filter. Purge air from fuel system and start vehicle. Inspect for proper operation. Please note that the lower cap at the frame rail mounted filter was replaced due to damage to the cap.
    • Removed and resealed vacuum pump. While vacuum pump was removed belt, pulleys and tensioners were evaluated. It was noted that belt and pulleys were due for replacement. Belt, tensioner and idler pulley replaced at this time.
    • Removed the torn air deflector and installed a new factory replacement

    • Inspection found codes P207F ( 00-06C & 00-EC ) for reductant quality performance. Truck in reduced speed mode due to Emissions fault. Conducted DEF dosing test and DEF quality test. Dosing past at 50ml consistent, but the quality test failed. Dropped the DEF pump and tank assembly. Drained and flushed out the existing DEF fluid. Refilled the system and bled the air form the lines. Cleared codes and test drove. Upon completion of test drive performed a static regen and confirmed system is now working as designed.
    • Change engine oil and filter. Lube chassis. Visually inspect steering, suspension, exhaust, brakes and cooling system. Check all fluid levels and add as necessary. Inspect condition of drive belts and hoses. Check all exterior lighting. Reset maintenance reminder if applicable.
    • Air filter replaced this visit
    • Initial inspection found upper radiator hose pulled flat. Tested radiator cap and found it would hold up to 30PSI before releasing. Installed new radiator cap this visit.

    • Removed right side dash panel to remove dog house and verified EGR cooler is in place. Reinstalled removed components. Road tested to operational temperatures to open thermostat. Performed coolant reservoir/ block test for combustion, passed. Verified no water/ coolant in oil. Noted oil is low on dipstick. Coolant reservoir cap bleeds off pressure. No concerns found.
