- Codes: P0401 EGR flow insufficient. Road tested vehicle, no signs of overheating. Lower radiator hose leaking, recommend replacing. Checked temperatures at all locations. Coolant temperature gauge intermittently pegs, fuel gauge works opposite ( F=empty, E= full). Cluster failing possibly due to conversion, unknown if repairable. Recommend Edge monitor to view accurate information.
- Removed transfer case from truck. Cleaned exterior of housing, disassembled case and install new rear case half with pump support bracket and new rear output seal. Re installed transfer case and added fluid to recommended level. Cleaned area, road tested and verified no leaks.
- Removed hydroboost and both pressure lines. Installed new hydroboost and both pressure lines. Cleaned area and added fluid to recommended levels. Bled system and road tested, checked for leaks.
- Drained radiator and reserved coolant. Removed and replaced lower radiator hose and installed new clamps. Re installed reserved coolant and topped off. Road tested and checked for leaks.
