- Diesel electronic engine control system performance tests: Check for stored fault codes. Monitor data stream parameters. Check fuel supply and delivery systems. Check glow plug/intake heater system as equipped. Perform pinpoint tests for listed fault codes. Check engine light on. Codes: P0628 low voltage detected at fuel lift pump. Recommend replacing fuel lift pump on side of fuel bowl or in tank conversion.
- Renew fuel filter and inspect for leaks.
- Removed pump on fuel bowl & installed conversion kit. Mounted relay and wired in update. Tested system, normal operations.
- Replace front brake pad linings and rotors. Replace brake calipers. Check and fill brake fluid. Bleed air from system. Road test vehicle.
