- DEF Fluid quality message was present but no active codes in system. No history or freeze frame data to coincide with the warning message. Took a DEF fluid sample form the injector and volume/quality was right in spec. Used scan tool to activate pump / sensors and triggered a static regen. Truck completed regen and warning message has disappeared. Truck currently operating as designed. If a re occurrence happens, it may be prudent to start with software updates thru GM.
- If we get time truck needs LOF.
- Change engine oil and filter. Lube chassis. Visually inspect steering, suspension, exhaust, brakes and cooling systems. Check all fluid levels and add as necessary. Inspect condition of drive belts and hoses. Check all exterior lighting. Reset maintenance reminder if applicable.
