- Diesel electronic engine control system performance tests: Check for stored fault codes. Monitor data stream parameters. Check fuel supply and delivery systems. Check glow plug/intake heater system as equipped. Perform pinpoint tests for listed fault codes. Truck presented with Codes P0299 and P0470 which were turbo related in history. These did not come back on test drive. Code P0674 for glow plug #4 malfunction. REcommend replacement of glow plug and the associated harness.
- Coolant leak is from a crack in the upper tank of the radiator. Recommend radiator replacement
