Inspection found left manifold leaking with broken hardware. Oil leak noted at oil feed line. Recommend new manifolds, hardware and turbo fittings for oil leak. Checked codes: P0401 EGR A flow insufficient detected.
Drained coolant, removed intake, upper & lower intake manifolds, hot side charge pipe, turbo, up pipes and manifolds with heat shields. Found excessive oil/ carbon build up causing low flow & EGR codes. Cleaned build up. Inspected for coolant leak at rear of motor. Found coolant and oil fitting quick connects have large leaks. Removed and replaced all 3 fittings. Cleaned head surface for manifolds. Installed new manifolds with gaskets, studs, nuts and heat shield bolts. Re installed turbo, up pipes and down pipe with new gaskets, nuts, and studs on manifold to up pipe. Installed new gaskets on upper intake manifold and installed all removed parts. Installed new air filter and filled with new coolant. Road tested and inspected for leaks.
Change engine oil and filter. Lube chassis. Visually inspect steering, suspension, exhaust, brakes and cooling system. Check all fluid levels and add as necessary. Inspect condition of drive belts and hoses. Check all exterior lighting. Reset maintenance reminder if applicable.
Drain water from water separator, remove secondary fuel filter and install new filter. Remove primary fuel filter, clean bowl and install new fuel filter. Purge air from fuel system and start vehicle. Inspect for proper operation

Diesel electronic engine control system performance tests: Check for stored fault codes. Monitor data stream parameters. Check fuel supply and delivery systems. Check glow plug/intake heater system as equipped. Perform pinpoint tests for listed fault codes. Checked for codes: P0404 egr valve position control performance or range fault,. P0405 egr sensor A circuit low, P0676 cyl #6 glow plug, P2614 camshaft position output circuit/ open, P2617 crankshaft position output circuit/ open. Ran injector buzz test, 4 passed/ 1 weak/ 3 failed. Recommend replacing all injectors and egr valve.
Drained oil and coolant. Removed all parts needed to access valve covers. Removed valve cover and gasket, cleaned cover and mounting surfaces. Removed oil rail and injectors, cleaned and installed new injectors. Re installed oil rail and valve covers with new gaskets. Reinstalled all removed parts. Added fluids to recommended levels. Cleared codes and road tested. Glow plug #6 code returned, recommend replacing left bank of glow plugs with harness.

Removed EGR valve and cleaned top of intake manifold. Installed new EGR valve and road tested.
Removed and replaced hydroboost. Inspected and found brake switch connector breaking, removed and replaced. Topped off fluids and bled air from system. Cleaned area and road tested.
Removed all parts necessary to access glow plugs on left bank. Removed and replaced all 4 glow plugs and wiring harness. Re installed all removed parts. Cleared codes and road tested, no codes returned.

Inspected for whistle noise. Found slight exhaust leak started at right lower up pipe. Found short boot on hot side to inner cooler is ripped. Road tested, confirmed low boost and air noise. Recommend replacing boot. Adjusted clamp until boot replacement comes in. Removed and replaced hot side lower charge pipe boot. Noise resolved.

Tested FICM due to P0611. FICM test failed. Due to mileage recommend replacing FICM and wiring harness to injectors. After repair recommend retesting injectors after sitting overnight & can test hot/ cold.

Checked codes: P1464 air conditioning demand out of self test range & P0128 coolant thermostat malfunction. Performed diagnostic tests for codes. Checked coolant, full. Recommend thermostat w/ gasket. Recommend A/C testing and recharge. During inspection found oil filter has gasket off set. Removed filter and found double gasket. Removed both gaskets and installed new oil filter. See list of recommendations.
Removed thermostat housing, gasket and thermostat. Cleaned area. Installed new thermostat and gasket with new housing. Cleared codes, road tested, checked for leaks. No codes returned.
Recover freon from system and place system under a vacuum. Check system for leaks. Recharge system with proper amount of R134 and pag oil. Check system pressures and outlet air temp.
